Car Hire:
El Convento is a half an hour drive into the heart of the Sierra de las Nieves Park. There are many car hire companies that operate from Malaga Airport who supply affordable car hire. The park is 1hour 15 minutes from Malaga Airport.

Around 2.5km before you reach El Burgo, the traditional white town, there is a sign-post and turning on the left for Sierra de las Nieves natural park. Turn down this road and continue for around 9km.
Follow signs for Los Sauces.
You will reach a designated camping area with a gate at the end labelled 'Private'. We will have informed you where the key is kept upon booking so simply open the gate and continue on (please remember to lock the gate after you!). More details can be sent via email.
You're now in the Convent grounds so simply drive down the hill, following the white arrows for El Convento. If you look to the right, you should see the retreat - head for that!
Coming from Ronda:
Stay on the Ronda to Malaga road through El Burgo until you see the Sierra de las Nieves sign and a turning on the right. Then continue as above!
Please inform us if coming by car to ensure access gates are open into El Convento.

By Air
Malaga airport is the closest airport to our yoga centre and is excellent for European connections.
From Malaga Airport take bus (travel time approx 25 minutes) or metro (approx 10 minutes) to Malaga Cenral Bus Station to connect with coach to El Burgo.
By Coach
By Coach from Malaga Central Bus Station:
Clean modern and convenient and very inexpensive at 7 euros. Bus Company: Autobuses Sierra de las Nieves.
You will be collected from El Burgo- coach drop off.
On arrival days, there is a pick up to transfer guests to El Convento Retreat from El Burgo at 3.40pm. This coincides with the 2.00pm coach from Malaga Central Bus Station. Cost €15 per person for family retreats each way. On departure days the transfer enables guests to catch the 8.40am coach from El Burgo arriving in Malaga at 10.30am.
Outside of these times transfer cost is €40 per person.
